This kitchen was a major redecorating project. We were basically starting at ground zero. The previous decor was not what we were trying to match at all and we had to find something that would inspire the new direction and that would really showcase the client's desire for the new color palette.
When I realized that the floor mat was exactly her colors, I decided to take my inspiration from that and that's where we came up with this color combination. I love that it's a little bit different with the mahogany toned island against the black washed cabinets. It's so personal! As budget allows, the flooring will be brought up to date and then I think this kitchen will really shine!
